A small building with five apartments and one office.
The project aims at rebuilding part of the XIX century edifice bombed during the second world war. The façades retrace the original plan which has been exactly recovered through its ruins. The façades on the street and courtyard have the same openings, materials and shape of the old building. The southern glazed façade while showing the XIX century section it is coherent to the post war architecture that features the area around. Although the house is formaly a historical building it is featured by a strong energy innovation thanks to materials and energy system: the thermal consumption is less than 30KWh square metre a year.
